Fundraising Events — Bach Concert Series
The Bach Concert Series was held on February 3, 2008. Bach’s Cantata 75, “The hungering shall be nourished until they are full,” took place at Christ Church.
On behalf of the homeless families that we serve, we thank everyone who made a donation to the shelter that night. We raised $10,000 in one day, and are eligible for matching funds of $5,000 from a range of Thrivent funds. Thank you for your generosity.
We especially thank the Bach Concert Series for sponsoring this event and for all their hours of practice to create a wonderful concert. The funds will be used to shelter families in this cold winter weather, and to train our next group of women in culinary arts, so that they can have a viable skill to support their families.
